Foundation Repair Durham NC wants homeowners in Durham, NC, the rest of Durham County and the nearby towns we serve to be able to read every page and send a request on any device and with any assistive technology.

Our goal. We aim to meet Level AA of WCAG 2.1, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Pages are simple HTML and CSS, a setup that suits screen readers, keyboard-only use, zooming in and enlarged text.

What is in place. Headings on each page follow a clear order, so you can jump between sections. Images carry text descriptions. Text, links and buttons are checked for color contrast. Each form field shows a label you can see, and a keyboard by itself is enough to complete and send either form. FAQ answers are shown in full rather than tucked behind panels. Controls in the quiz and calculator are ordinary buttons with labels that assistive technology can read aloud.

Pages run by others. Some links go to government offices and source documents that we don't manage. Their owners are responsible for how accessible those pages are.

Reporting a barrier. If something on the site gets in your way, send a note through the general questions form on our contact page. Name the page, describe what you were trying to do and say where it went wrong. If the form itself is the barrier, reach us any way you can and say so, and we will work out another way to help. Every report is read, and fixes are made as soon as we reasonably can.

This statement is reviewed again any time the site goes through a major change.
